I had stated in a earlier blog post that I would discuss my current skin care routine. So it is here! I have a new skin care routine that works such as a miracle. I’m telling you, my epidermis has changed so much! And the more I use it the better the results! It’s been nearly 3 years since I’ve seen any improvement in my skin, and today I can visit a dramatic improvement finally! 5 Sephora Face Complexion Brush to use all my cleansers (Dual-Action, Exfoliating Cleanser, and DDF).
I damp my face brush and apply one pump of Patricia Wexler’s Dual Action Foaming Cleanser to the brush head. I then massage therapy it onto my skin in round motions. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason. I do circles just. I go in a single direction all over an area and then reverse the circle motion the other way. I then re-wet my face brush and re-brush within the same area.
Then I do it again the same process another 2 times (yet another pump for my other aspect of my face and one pump for the forehead). Remember sometimes one pump is not a full pump of product. I can control how much comes out. I probably only use two full pushes over my whole face.
- Clean makeup brushes and sponges
- Apply two layers of Lash Love Lengthening Lash Mask in ♥ black
- Abraham Lincoln
- Natural Looking Spring Pinks
- Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System, USD169.00
- Great for combination skin
- DERMALOGICA CLEAR START BREAKOUT CLEARING SKIN KIT
Then I wash my face and pat it dried out. This next thing is something I don’t do everyday, but you can if you would like (it will not hurt). I use Olay’s Refreshing Toner, which I apply with a cotton ball. I normally only apply this on days I’m going to be outdoors the majority of the day, or on days I’ll be indoors cleaning all day long (basically for any situation in which I could start sweating). My face can get very greasy, so this toner helps control oil (at least in my opinion it does).
Then I apply my moisturizer (Aveeno Positively Radiant), followed up with my eye cream (Korres Evening Primrose). And my morning hours skincare program is complete. At nighttime my routine is a little different, and there are more steps. First, I remove all my makeup. I use two makeup removers – one just for eye makeup and one for everything else. Then I draw out my Sephora face brush and wet it. A pump is applied by me of the DDF Blemish Foaming Cleanser to the brush head. Then i massage it onto my skin in circular motions. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason. I just do circles.
I usually go in a single direction all over a location and then reverse the circle motion the other way. Then i re-wet my face clean and re-brush within the same area. I QUICKLY repeat the same process another two times (yet another pump for my other side of my face and one pump for the forehead).
Again, keep in brain sometimes one pump is not a full pump of product. I could control how much comes out. I probably only use two full pumps over my whole face. I QUICKLY rinse my face and pat it dry. Next, I apply Patricia Wexler Overnight Acne Repair Lotion. I generate 3 pushes onto the back of my hands and apply everything over my face (except the attention area). I allow this to dried out for one minute roughly before applying a slim layer of Philosophy’s Help Me (which is a retinol treatment to help fine lines, discoloration, and large pores).
I allow that to dried out before shifting. I QUICKLY apply my moisturizer (Aveeno Positively Radiant), adopted up with my vision cream (Korres Evening Primrose). I’ll also use Philosophy’s Hope in a Tube as my lip series cream. I apply it to the smile lines (parentheses around your mouth) and above my lip. That completes my nighttime skincare schedule.
So there you own it! Those are my current magic employees. I don’t care how tired I am during the night I will always do my skincare routine. The email address details are amazing never to put enough time involved with it too. And now: 5 Skincare Lines that Failed Me! They always make it appear appealing soooo.
